It is contended that the husband of the petitioner was working under the respondent and died while in duty on 24.07.2020. It is stated that the terminal benefits had been paid with delay. 3. The respondent may examine the records and if there are plausible reasons for the delay, may explain to the petitioner herein. Otherwise, they may grant interest at the rate 6% per annum from the date on which it should have been paid till the date of actual disbursement.
