JUDGMENT This Court, as per Annexure 1 order, directed the alleged contemnor to take a decision in the matter in question within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that
judgment, which is dated 24.07.2024. Alleging that the contemnor did not take a decision within the said period or even in the extended time granted by this Court this contempt case has been filed.
2. Today, when this matter is taken up for
consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a decision in the matter has already been taken. In the light of the said submission, this contempt case has become infructuous.
Accordingly, this contempt case is closed without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to question the vires of the order of the competent authority on the question of sanction in appropriate proceedings.
