GP FOR HOUSING (AP) The Court Made the Following Order:- This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not promoting the petitioner to the post of Assistant Engineer in terms of G.O. Ms. No. 34 2 Housing (RH-I) Department dated 13-102009 as per the Additional Educational Qualification (B.Tech Civil Engineering) acquired by the petitioner and to declare the sane as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the Service regulations of the Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporations Consequently direct the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant engineering in terms of G.O. Ms. No. 34 Housing (RH-I) Department dated 13-10-2009 duly taking into consideration the Additional Educational Qualification (B.Tech Civil Engineering) acquired by the petitioner and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case....” 2. Sri L.V.S. Nagaraju, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in view of the subsequent events taken place in the lis, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 3. Sri K.Mallikarjuna Murthy, learned standing counsel for respondent-corporation is in attendance. 4. Recording the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
