Respondent(s) For Petitioner (s) : Shri Pawan Kesharwani, Advocate. For State : Shri Anmol Sharma, Panel Lawyer. Hon’ble Shri Justice Ravindra Kumar Agrawal, J Order on Board 30.07. 202 5 1. The petitioner has filed this petition claiming promotion on the post of Section Officer from the date when his juniors were promoted i.e. from 2 22.05.2021. He would further submit that only for want of his previous ACRs the case of petitioner for promotion was not considered and now he has already supplied the copies of missing ACRs to the department and have already made his representation on 27.05.2025 but till date neither his representation has been decided nor he has been given promotion on the said post. Therefore, he confines his prayer for a direction to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 27.05.2025 within specified time frame. 2. Learned counsel for the State though opposes the submissions on merits, however he does not have any objection if such a direction is given to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner within stipulated time period. 3. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the petitioner and also considering the fact that representation of the petitioner is pending since 27.05.2025, without entering into the merits of the case the respondent No.1 is directed to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order to respondent No.1 within two weeks. 4. With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
