GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.23604 OF 2024 O R D E R: This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “…to issue a Writ, or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents No. 2 and 4 in failing to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.10.2024 and to investigate the same against the Respondent No. 5 and his family members as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and contrary to the provisions of Cr.P.C and consequently direct the respondents to consider and take appropriate legal action against the 5th respondent and his family members by duly considering the petitioner's complaint dated 02.10.2024 and investigate the same by apprehending the 5th respondent herein and pass....” 2. Heard Sri Cheruku Ashoka Vardhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that police registered a case in Crime No.162 of 2024 dated 12.09.2024 of Kurnool II Town Police Station for the offence under Sections 329(3), 329(4), 340, 4 340(2), 351(2), 303(2), 109 r/w 3(5) of BNS, 2023 and investigating into the case. 4. The submissions of learned Additional Government Pleader for Home are placed on record. 5. In that view of the matter, no further orders are required in the Writ Petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
