Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 200 of 2024, for the offence registered under Section 20 of the NDPS Act, pending in the court of Sri Shambhu Lal Shaw, learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Chatra.
It was submitted that 1.200 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact.
Considering the fact that intermediary quantity of cannabis was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Shambhu Lal Shaw, learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Chatra, in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No. 200 of 2024.
