While placing on record communication dated 10.10.2025, issued under the signatures of Regional Manager, Himachal Road Transport Corporation, Parwanoo, addressed to the Divisional Manager (Legal) Himachal Road Transport Corporation, Shimla, Mr. Virender Singh Kanwar, learned counsel representing the non-applicant/respondent, states that sums of Rs. 14, 59,260/- and Rs. 8, 43,128/- have been paid to the applicant/petitioner on account of arrears of DCRG and Leave encashment. Having perused aforesaid communication, there appears to be merit in the contention of learned counsel for the non- applicant/respondent and as such, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant application and accordingly same is disposed of, with a direction to the non-applicant/respondent to ensure that interest upon delayed payment, if not already released, shall be released expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
