This is an application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 filed by the petitioner namely, LAKHYAJIT GOGOI, praying for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 852/2025 registered under Sections 191(3)/ 281/ Page No.# 2/2 296/ 115(2)/ 117(2)/ 118(1)/ 118(2)/ 131/ 74/ 79/ 109(1) of the BNS, 2023. 3. It is submitted that the case has resulted in charge sheet submitted vide CS No. 746/2025, dated 31.12.2025 and the petitioner is on interim bail since 18.11.2025. 4. Having regard to the nature of the allegation, at this stage taking the petitioner into custody may not be necessary. 5. In view of the above, prayer for pre- arrest bail is allowed. Accordingly, interim order dated 18.11.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions that the the petitioner:- (i) shall not, directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/ her from disclosing such facts to the Court or any other police officer, in any manner; and (ii) shall not hamper the investigation or tamper with the evidence of the case. 6.
