This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in opening and continuation of Suspect Sheet/Rowdy Sheet against the petitioner and also calling the petitioner to the Police Station regularly

without giving any notice, as illegal, arbitrary, violation of life and of the personal liberty and contrary to Articles 14, 19 and 21 Constitution of India and also contrary to the Interim orders passed by this Hon’ble Court in l.A.No. 1 of 2022 in WA No. 674 of 2022 and consequently direct the respondents to close the Suspect Sheet/Rowdy Sheet which was opened against the petitioner.”
2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, by way of counter affidavit, would submit that there are no cases pending against the Petitioner and to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, Rowdy Sheet No.16 has been opened against the Petitioner. 3. Sri Pilli Sundeep, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, no cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the rowdy sheet opened against the Petitioner may be closed. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Rowdy Sheet No.16 against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
