Learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that the aforesaid agreement has been arrived at between the parties without any pressure or coercion and the same is out of their own free will, whereby they have amicably resolved the dispute before the Mediation Centre of this Court and therefore, the present appeal may be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid agreement dated 07.08.2025. 6.
We have heard learned counsel for the respective parties and went through the record with utmost circumspection. 7. Upon perusal of the record and after considering the joint submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, it is evident that during the pendency of the present appeal, the appellant – Smt. As per Clause 4 of the agreement, the appellant – wife has unequivocally waived off any claim for permanent alimony or stridhan, and both parties have mutually agreed not to initiate any civil or criminal proceedings against each other in future.
