Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to provide the same security of (1 + 1) personal security officers to the petitioners.”
2. Sri E.Anjana Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the father of the Petitioner was murdered due to faction disputes and the Petitioner has also been attacked on multiple occasions. Learned counsel would further submit that, though the Petitioner made a representation to Respondent No.2 on 11.09.2020 seeking additional security of (2 + 2) Personal Security Officers, his security of (1 + 1) personal security officers itself was withdrawn without any prior intimation of notice. It is further submitted that, as per the directions of this Court in W.P.No.18544 of 2020 filed by the Petitioner to provide same (1 + 1) personal security officers, the Respondents complied with the same till 23.11.2021 only and have withdrawn the same. Learned counsel would finally submit that, in view of the faction disputes and the life threat to the Petitioner due to political rivalry, security of (1 + 1) Personal Security Officers may be provided, on payment of costs of such security by the Petitioner. 3.
Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home reported no objection to grant security of (1 + 1) Personal Security Officers to the Petitioner on payment of costs of such security by the Petitioner. 4. However,

the same was withdrawn. In view of the background of the family of the Petitioner, it is apposite to restore the earlier (1 + 1) security to the Petitioner. 5. Considering the submissions, in view of the murder of the father of the Petitioner and the life threats to the Petitioner due to political rivalry, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the concerned Authorities to provide (1+1) Personal Security Officers to the Petitioner, subject to payment of costs of such security by the Petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. ________________________________________ Dr.JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA Date:23.10.2025 Dinesh
