Sheikh, learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has sought for amendment of the connected Review Pet./235/2025. Page No.# 3/3 Also heard Shri R. Talukdar, learned counsel for the State respondent. As indicated above, the application has been filed for amending the aforesaid Review Pet which has been filed for review of an order dated 10.05.2024 passed in WP(C)/4196/2022. This Court had however noticed that the review petition was presented after a delay. Shri Sheikh, the learned counsel has submitted that certain averments were already made in the review petition explaining the delay which however are not adequate. He has accordingly submitted that the review petition is required to be amended by incorporating the averments as mentioned in the present IA by which a better explanation has been projected for the delay. Shri Talukdar, the learned State Counsel has not put serious objection to the said aspect of allowing amendment to the review petition. In view of above and after going through the contentions made in the present IA, the same stands allowed. The learned counsel for the applicant is accordingly directed to submit a consolidated review petition by incorporating the averments made in the present IA. IA accordingly stands allowed.
