Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(i) To issue a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent no.2, Joint Director (Education), Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh and Respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools, District Mau to release the arrears of salary of the petitioner from 01.01.1996 till 30.11.2024 amounting to a sum of Rs.51,21,182/- Plus interest forthwith as the petitioner is going to be superannuated on 31.03.2025." 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher in the respondent-Institution and appointment was approved by order dated 19.12.2024 by the District Inspector of Schools, Mau. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that claim for arrears of salary is pending consideration before the District Inspector of Schools, Mau since 29.10.2024. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that claim of the petitioner for arrears of salary would be decided in accordance with law in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that the respondent no.3-District Inspector of Schools, Mau shall decide the claim of the petitioner for arrears of salary in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. 6.
