The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deoghar (Town) P.S. Case No. 330/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar. On 06.06.2024, co-accused Deepak Kumar Singh @ Deepak was apprehended by Deoghar Town police and on search, a country made pistol was recovered from his possession. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner was apprehended at the spot but no firearm was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that co-accused Deepak Kumar Singh @ Deepak has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.7926 of 2024. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar, in connection Deoghar (Town) P.S.
