The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in withholding the payment of pending amounts of Rs.43,33,732/- even after finalizing the bills payable to the Petitioner in relation to the work i.e. Construction of Community Hall Building Cellar and First Floor at Mangaldas Nagar 1st Line in Div.No.57 under AE-7 Section (General Grant) vide Agreement No.115/S.E/G.M.C/GNT/2022- 23, Dated 28.03.2023 and Widening of Existing Road with hot mix BT from Cobaldpet 7th Line to Pattabhipuram Police Station in Division 34 under 123 Secretariat AE-1 Section of GMC Agreement No.157/2023-24, dated 24.02.2024, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. At the time of hearing, M/s Devasri Roshan. K, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the amounts were received by the Writ Petitioner and no cause survives for adjudication in this matter. 3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
