For the respondents: Mr. Anil Kumar, Advocate. Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “a. That writ in the nature of Certiorari may kindly be issued and impugned transfer order (Annexure P-1) dated 06-02-2025 may kindly be quashed and set aside qua petitioner; b. That writ in the nature of Mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to work, as a Senior Assistant, in the office of Chief Engineer (Gen.), Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited, Sundernagar, District Mandi, HP.” 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by transfer order dated 6.2.2025 (Annexure P-1) in terms whereof, the petitioner was ordered to be transferred from Sundernagar to Shimla. 3. A perusal of the petition demonstrates that the petitioner was posted at Sundernagar on 20.4.2022. The operation of the impugned transfer order was stayed by this Court on 21.2.2025, however, in light of the fact that now the petitioner has completed his normal tenure i.e. more than 3 years at the said station, this petition is dismissed. Interim vacated. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the petitioner is to retire within two years, he be granted liberty to approach the authority for his adjustment at a convenient station. Prayer being innocuous is allowed. 5. With the said observation, the instant petition is disposed of, so also pending miscellaneous applications, if any.
