And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Byas Kumar Prasad,Pradeep Kumar Keshri Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ashwani Kumar Mishra,J. Hon'ble Donadi Ramesh,J. This petition has been filed stating that without any reason the police is harassing the petitioner. Records reveal that petitioner's brother is an absconder in a criminal case and proceedings under Sections 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. have been initiated. Learned Standing counsel submits that visits of police to petitioner's house is only to apprehend the absconder and in the process, if any inconvenience is caused to the petitioner, it cannot be said to be an act contrary to law. We find substance in the objection of the respondents. The petitioner's brother is an absconder. Police is bound to make necessary inquiries and in the process may proceed to the house of the petitioner. Such routine steps cannot be said to be an act of harassment. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Order Date :- 20.3.2025 Noman Digitally signed by :- NOMAN AHMAD High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
