The writ petition was listed on 29.10.2015. Thereafter, the matter was adjourned from time to time. On 05.08.2024, when the writ petition was listed, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the matter has become infructuous. Recording the same, the matter was adjourned to 09.08.2024. 3. Today, when the matter is listed, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 4. The challenge in the writ petition is the Gazette notification dated 23.10.2015 issued by respondent No.4. 5. At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that by efflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. 6. Recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
