It is noticed that the District Caste Verification Committee had already passed the Order canceling the caste certificate vide order dated 10.05.2022 and the same is produced as per Annexure-E, while the petition was filed on 10.10.2022. Admittedly, the said order is not challenged within 30 days as required under Section 4D of Karnataka Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:3560 CRL.P No. 10148 of 2022 Backward Classes (Reservation of Appointments, etc.,) Act, 1990. Under such circumstances, I do not find any reason to reserve liberty to the petitioners to challenge the charge sheet to be filed by the Investigating Officer.
