Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Rent Controller by following the judgment in the case of Padmavathy vs. Amudha Pearls in C.R.P.No.2766 of 2022 vide order dated 11.03.2024, had earlier returned the petition as not maintainable. Subsequently, the same Court in similar cases, taking into consideration the judgment of this Court in C.R.P.Nos.3985 of 2020 and etc., batch dated 23.04.2024 ordered to number such similar applications. Thereby, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested that this petition may be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to represent the RLTOP petition before the X Small Causes Court, Chennai.
