JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioners are before this Court seeking a direction by issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to regularize their services from the date on which they completed 10 years of service with all consequential benefits. 2. Heard the learned counsel Sri.Ravi Hegde appearing for the petitioners and the learned HCGP for the respondent- State. 3. The petitioners along with several others are said to have been engaged as daily wage employees with effect from 15.10.1984. The learned counsel would take this Court through a document appended to the petition which is dated 23.08.2023, by which the employees were appointed on daily wages along with the petitioners during the same period, have been regularized. In the wake of the regularization of those employees by the State, the petitioners submit representation seeking parity in treatment qua regularization of the present petitioners as well. The said representation has not yet met its - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:664 WP No. 100574 of 2024 consideration. It is therefore the petitioners are at the doors of this Court. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are also entitled to the same treatment/benefit that is given to several other employees who are appointed along with the petitioners. 5. A perusal of the order dated 23.08.2023 is in vindication of the submission of the counsel in the writ petition. 6. The learned HCGP would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the representation of the petitioners would meet its consideration and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law. 7. In the light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition directing consideration of cases of petitioners for regularization of their services as is done in terms of the order dated 23.08.2023 vide Annexure-D to the petition and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within an outer limit of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order, if not earlier. - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:664 WP No. 100574 of 2024 8. Any documents necessary from the hands of the petitioners shall be solicited and petitioners shall submit the same to the respondents for the aforesaid consideration. 9. Ordered accordingly.
