YOUSUF WANI, JUDGE ORDER 29.04.2025 01. Through the medium of this successive petition, petitioner seeks grant of bail in his favour on the main ground that he had approached the learned trial Court with the prayer for grant of bail on the legal grounds, as also on the ground of violation of his right to speedy trial but his bail application has been rejected while addressing the aspect of speedy trial only. 02. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and considered their submissions. 03. Having regard to the status of the case, petitioner cannot claim grant of bail on the ground of violation of his right to speedy trial at this initial stage of the trial, as rightly opined by the learned trial Court. However, it is also the grievance of the petitioner that learned trial Court did not address to the other legal grounds mentioned in the application touching the merits of the case. The instant application is, as such, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to Sr. No. 121 2 | P a g e Bail App No. 116/2025 approach the learned trial Court with a successive application for grant of bail. In the event, same is done, learned trial Court shall hear the same on all the grounds that may be projected before it in the said application. 04.
