1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is entitled for the 3rd M.A.C.P, which has not been paid to the petitioner, though the similarly situated employees have already been given the benefit of the same. He submits that suffice it would be if respondent no. 3 is directed to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a fresh representation annexing all the documents including the documents to suggest that similarly situated employees have been given the same benefit, his case will be considered as per the law and the circulars prevalent.

Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioner to file a detailed representation before Inspector General of Police, South Chotanagpur Range, Ranchi, respondent no. 3, annexing all the documents which are in his favor. Once the said petition is filed within four weeks, respondent no. 3 will take an appropriate decision on the
representation. If it is necessary to place the case before any Committee, the same will be placed by respondent no. 3. If it is found that petitioner is entitled for the relief, the same should be extended to the petitioner immediately. If the claim of the petitioner or any part thereof is rejected, the reasons thereof should be communicated to the petitioner. The entire process should be concluded within 12 weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order along with the representation of the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
