Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P appearing for the State. It is noticed that the quantity involved is intermediate and the petitioner is a widow and has been in custody for the last 220 days. The stage before the learned Trial Court is at evidence. Page No.# 2/2 In such circumstances, keeping in view the length of incarceration of the widow, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner can be granted the privilege of bail subject to furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 15,000/- two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Trial Court. The direction for bail is further subject to the conditions that the petitioner; (a) shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of learned Special Judge, Kokrajhar, Assam without prior written permission from him/her till disposal of the case; (b) shall regularly attend the trial court and co-operate with the court for early disposal of the case; and (c) shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court. The observation made by the Court is for the purpose of this bail application only, not on merits of the case. Violation or breach of any condition(s) shall render cancellation of bail.
