The instant contempt petition arises out of the order/judgment dated 15.01.2018 followed by order dated 21.02.2018 passed by this Court in OWP No.35/2018. The record reveals that this Court vide order dated 15.01.2018 has been pleased to direct the respondents to maintain Status Quo with regard to opening of fair price shop at Par Bhagram and the said order was extended by virtue of order dated 21.02.2018. 2. Since, the aforesaid order was not complied with, the instant contempt petition has been preferred in which notice was issued on 23.04.2018. Pursuant thereto, the respondents have filed the compliance report/statement of facts dated 26.02.2019, in which they have taken a stand that the order passed by this Court mentioned (supra) stands complied with as the direction has already been issued to the Director Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Jammu to implement the aforesaid order in its letter and spirit by Sr. No. 22 2 CPOWP No.69/2018 releasing the supply of ration in favour of the petitioner in conformity with the aforesaid direction. . 3. In the aforesaid backdrop, no fruitful purposes will be served to keep this contempt petition alive, as the order passed by this Court stands complied with. 4.
