The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No. 52/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 18, 27 & 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Chatra. 3. On 28.10.2024 at about 3:00 A.M., Kunda police raided the house of the petitioner and seized 1.22 Kg. of opium from there. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Chatra in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No. 52/2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
