1. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):-
“10.1 The Hon’ble High Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioner for its kind perusal. 10.2 The Hon’ble High Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent authorities to remove the encroachment on Government grass land situated at Gandhi Chowk, Village- Bhothiya Tahsil- Jaijaipur, District Janjgir Champa. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble High Court may further be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to initiate the proceedings against the encroachers as per the direction of the Hon’ble Apex Court passed in the case of Jagpal Singh & others v/s State of Punjab & Others (AIR 2011 SC 1123). 2 10.4 That, any other relief, this Hon’ble Court deem fit and proper may also be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.”

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that government lands situated as Village Bhothiya, Gandhi Chowk, Tahsil- Jaijaipur, District Janjgir Champa have been encroached by the private persons. He would contend that complaints were made before the Revenue Authority by the petitioner, but no action has been taken. He would submit that a direction may be issued to the respondent authorities to decide the pending representation or take action strictly in accordance with law.
3. On the other hand, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would oppose.
4. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition, at this juncture, is disposed of at admission stage reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to make a suitable application before the concerned Tehsildar and in turn, the authority concerned is directed to consider and decide the application strictly in accordance with law.
6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
7. Consequently, the petition is disposed of. Sd/-
