The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Tandwa P.S. Case No.06 of 2024 (S.T. No.383 of 2024), for the offences registered under Sections 25 (1-A)/25(1-B)a/26/35 of the Arms Act and Section 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra. On 06.01.2024, Tandwa police on the basis of confidential information that 04-05 ultras belonging to TSPC cadre were seen near Loharmanaj forest, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended the accused persons and on search, a loaded country made pistol was recovered from the possession of co-accused Rajesh Kumar Ganjhu @ Rajesh Ganjhu and a live cartridge was recovered from the possession of co-accused Pintu Kumar Ganjhu @ Pintu Ganjhu. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has come in confession of co-accused. It was further submitted that co- accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra, in connection Tandwa P.S.
