Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar (Mesra) P.S. Case No. 468 of 2024(N) for the offences registered under sections 20(b) (ii) (B) / 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi. On 30.10.2024, petitioner along with co-accused persons were apprehended by Mesra Police from a place near Budhiya Bagan at Ring road. On search, 06.00 kg. of cannabis was recovered from the joint possession of the accused persons. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at para-11 of this bail application. It appears that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court earlier vide B.A. No. 158 of 2025. In view of the submission made above, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi in connection with Sadar (Mesra) P.S.
