ORDER:-
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Writs, Order or Direction, declaring and setting aside the Order dated 26.8.2019 in Rc.No. 140/B/2019 on the file of the 3rd Respondent, as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction, violative of principles of natural justice and violative of provisions of A.P.Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner immediately and pass such other order or orders…”
2. Heard Sri N.Ranga Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents.

The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of the appeal pending before the 2nd respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Penukonda and alternatively, to grant interim stay restraining dispossession from the land in Sy.No.30-5 extent Ac.3.50 cents situated at Yerramanchi Village, Penukonda Mandal, Sri Sathya Sai District.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the appellate authority is bound to decide the case in accordance with the law expeditiously.
5. Ergo, this Court directs the 2nd respondent-appellate authority to make an endeavor, or to put to an end, by making all the efforts, in
3 deciding the case with due diligence within a reasonable time for disposal of the appeal on merits and as per law, after hearing all the parties to the dispute, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, not beyond three (03) months from date of receipt of a copy this order. Further, the petitioner is directed to submit an appropriate application for interim relief. If the appellate authority is unable to resolve the appeal promptly, as directed by this Court, the application for the interim relief may be considered in accordance with law.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
