GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the directing the 3rd Respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Visakhapatnam/Appellate Authority to dispose off the Inam Appeal dated 02.04.2025 pending on its file expeditiously and to communicate the order to the Petitioner Society, so as to take further steps for construction of the houses by the Members of the Society in their individual house plots with respect to the land of Ac.17.50 cents in Sy.No.3A/1B of Vepagunta Village, Pendurthy Mandal, Visakhapatnam and pass such other order or orders ….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 5. 3. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of the appeal registered as Inam Appeal dated 02.04.2025 pending before the 3rd respondent- Revenue Divisional Officer. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the Appellate Authority is bound to decide the case in accordance with the law expeditiously. 5. Ergo, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent-appellate authority to make an endeavor, or to put to an end, by making all the 4 efforts, in deciding the case with due diligence within a reasonable time for disposal of the appeal on merits and as per law, after hearing all the parties to the dispute, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, not beyond four (04) months from date of receipt of a copy this order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
