The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents not to release compensation amount in respect of Gata No. 3387 area 0.724 hectares village and post office Sandh, Tehsil and Pargana Narval, district Kanpur Nagar during pendency of the litigation between the petitioners and the private respondents by way of a declaratory suit before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate. 2. Learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions furnished by ADM (Land Acquisition), Kanpur Nagar. According to it, at the time of declaration of the award, the name of Ajit Kumar respondent No.7 was recorded in the revenue records. However, in view of pendency of suit under Section 143 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 between the parties, the release of compensation amount has been kept in abeyance. 3.
