Eengba Meitei, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for all the respondents. [2] The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the present writ petition can be disposed of in terms of the earlier order passed by this court on 10-10-2022 in WP(C) No. 832 of 2022 and order dated 20-10-2022 passed in WP(C) No. 900 of 2022. [3] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents also fairly submitted that he has no objection in disposing of this writ petition in terms of the above-mentioned earlier orders passed by this court. [4] Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the consensus arrived at between the two learned counsel, the present writ petition is being disposed of with the following directions:- (i) The claim of the petitioner for payment of undisputed/ outstanding bill are to be examined and verified either by the Chief Engineer or by an Executive Engineer authorized by the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department; (ii) The process of verification should be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order; and -2- WP(C) No. 569 of 2025 Contd…/- (iii) After verification of the claim of the petitioner and if the claim of the petitioner is found to be correct, the respondents should immediately take steps for releasing the outstanding bills in respect of the petitioner in accordance with seniority based on completion of the work.
