(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, in FIR No. 379-B(2), 149, 506 of IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act at Police Station Ghanie Ke Bangar, Police District Batala. On the last date of hearing i.e. following submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner and asked to join investigation:-

On a pointed query as to whether the petitioner is involved in any other criminal case, learned State counsel has replied in the negative.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 05.03.2025, petitioner has joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 05.03.2025, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
