This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "Issue an appropriate order or direction to Additional District Judge court no.3 Aligarh to decide the land acquisition case no. 01/2021 (Geeta Kumari and others vs Dharmendra Kumar and others) within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice." It is contended that land of the petitioner was acquired by National Highway Authority of India for road widening. The Arbitrator has referred the matter under Section 3-H(4) of National Highways Act, 1956 to the Court of Additional District Judge, Court No.3, Aligarh and the matter is pending since 2021. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said case. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Additional District Judge, Court No.3, Aligarh to decide the Land Acquisition Case no. 01/2021 (Geeta Kumari and others vs Dharmendra Kumar and others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
