This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in not registering the FIR basing on the petitioners complaint dated 12 08 2025 which discloses a cognizable offence and further action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the complaint of the petitioner dated 12 08 2025 sent through registered post on 13 08 2025 in exercise of Section 173(4) of BNSS as illegal contrary to the provisions of BNSS violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India

and violation of the judgment of the Apex Court rendered in Lalitha Kumaris case and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to register FIR basing on the complaint of the petitioner and investigate into the same”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that based on complaint given by the petitioner, police have registered a case in Crime No.141 of 2025 of Manubolu Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 3(1)(r) of the SCs and the STs (PoA) Act. 4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
