The petitioner. Deputy Registrar/Divisional Co-operative Officer, Gudivada, was placed under suspension vide File N0.AGCO6- 11031(33)/2/2023-SEVCES-CCRCS, dated 26.12.2023 (Ex.P1) issued by the respondent No.2. A charge memo dated 31.05.2024, was issued against the petitioner and the petitioner submitted an explanation on 08.08.2024. 2. 1 SRS,J W.P.No.610 of 2025 Thereafter, the inquiry officer was appointed. However, the inquiry has not been concluded so far. Learned counsel for the petitioner would confine his arguments and urge to direct the respondent authorities to conclude the inquiry. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the inquiry will be completed in terms G.O.Ms.No.91 dated 12.09.2022. 4. The Government issued G.O.Ms.No.679 General Administration (Services-C) Department, dated 01.11.2008 and G.O.Ms.No.91 General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 12.09.2022 fixing the timelines to complete the inquiry within six months in complicated and three months in simple cases respectively. In the case at hand, the charge memo issued against the petitioner is dated 31.05.2024 and the petitioner submitted an explanation dated 08.08.2024. Despite the timelines fixed in the G.O.Ms.No.91 General Administration (Ser.C) Department, dated 12.09.2022, the inquiry has not been concluded so far. 5. 6. The Government also issued G.O.Ms.No.22 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 29.02.2024, reducing the outer limit of a Government servant from two years to one year. The G.O., further speaks about the reinstatement of a Government servant under suspension and further, it envisages the review of suspension at the end of every four months instead of six months. However, in the case at hand, the respondent authorities failed to review the suspension of the petitioner. 7. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the learned counsel, directing respondent No.2 to conclude the inquiry within three (03) months. Respondent No.2 also shall review the suspension of the petitioner in 8. m > SRS,J W.P,No.610 of 2025 terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 General Administration (Ser.C) Department dated 29.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders.
