(ii) Pass any other Order that this Hon’ble Court deems fit and necessary in favour of the petitioner in the circumstance of the case, in the interest of Justice.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. SPP for respondent No.1 and perused the material on record. 3. In addition to reiterating the various contentions urged in the petition and referring to the material on record, learned counsel for petitioner invited my attention to the directions issued at Annexure – E where all cases arising out of the subject incident were sought to be withdrawn by the State Government as can be seen from the Annexure – A to the said Notification at Sl.No.5, which includes the impugned Crime No.270/2012 of Mandya West - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:22072 WP No. 22437 of 2024 police station and submits that the impugned proceedings qua the petitioner deserves to be quashed. 4. Per contra, learned Addl. SPP for the respondents submits that there is no merit in the petition and that the same is liable to be dismissed. 5. A perusal of the Notification at Annexure – E together with Annexure – A to the said Notification at Sl.No.5, which includes the impugned Crime No.270/2012 of Mandya West police station will indicate that the respondents have taken decision not to continue the impugned proceedings, which deserves to be quashed. 6. In the result, I pass the following: ORDER (i) The petition is hereby allowed. (ii) The impugned Charge Sheet in C.C.No.655/2013 on the file of the Principal Civil Judge & JMFC, Mandya, arising out of Crime No.270/2012 of Mandya - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:22072 WP No. 22437 of 2024 West Police Station, insofar as the petitioner is concerned are hereby quashed.
