Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is behind the bars since 21.12.2023. However, learned State counsel on instructions at the outset has submitted that only three prosecution witnesses remain to be examined and the next date before the trial Court is 09.04.2025. Keeping in view the stage of the trial, this Court would refrain itself from going into the merits of the case. Hence, the present petition is disposed of, however, with a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest.
