This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
a) Call for records from the respondent; and
b) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ,
order or direction, directing the Respondent KEA to consider the e-mail representation submitted by the Petitioner at Annexure-G dated 29.08.2023 and permit him to claim the Telugu Linguistic Minority quota and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the Petitioner at Annexure-G; and
c) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ,
order or direction, directing the Respondent KEA to permit the Petitioner to claim the Telugu Linguistic Minority quota in the

Online Application Form of the Petitioner at Annexure-F and consider the case of the Petitioner under Telugu Linguistic Minority quota for admission to MBBS Course in UGNEET-2023 for the academic year 2023-24; and
d) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ,
Order or Direction, directing the Respondents to allow the Petitioner to claim the Telugu Linguistic Minority quota and permit him to participate in the ongoing UGNEET - 2023 second round of online counselling under the category of Telugu Linguistic Minority; and
e) Pass such other reliefs and orders and directions as this Hon'ble court may deem fit including costs of this petition, in the facts and circumstances of the case.
2. It is submitted that an order had been issued on 01.09.2023 permitting the petitioner to undergo document verification and to participate in the second round of counselling of UG NEET conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA). It is submitted that pursuant to the interim order dated 01.09.2023, the petitioner had participated in the counselling and has been admitted to the UG NEET course.
3. In view of the above submissions and in the light of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Advocate as well, we find that nothing survives for consideration

in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed recording that the petitioner has been granted admission on the basis of the counselling undergone by him on the basis of the interim order granted by this Court.
