State of H.P vs Tarun Sisodia Cr.M.P(M) No.2882 of 2025 19.06.2026 Present Mr. Rajan Kohal & Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocates General with Mr. Ravi Chauhan and Mr. Anish Banshtu, Deputy Advocates Generals, for applicant-State Mr. Maan Singh, Advocate, for the respondent. Cr.M.P(M) No.2882 of 2025 By way of instant application filed under Section 5 of limitation Act, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicant/appellant for condonation of delay in maintaining the accompanying appeal, which is barred by limitation. Pursuant to notice issued in the instant proceedings, Mr. Maan Singh, Advocate, has filed Power of Attorney on behalf of the respondent. He fairly states that he does not intend to file any reply to the application, and as such this Court may pass appropriate order. Having perused the averments contained in the application, which is duly supported by affidavit, this Court is convinced and satisfied that delay in maintaining the accompanying appeal is neither intentional nor deliberate, rather same has occurred on account of lengthy administrative process and as such, delay in filing the appeal, which in my considered view has been sufficiently explained, is condoned. The application stands disposed of. Criminal Appeal No.______2026 Be registered. Admit. Notice. Mr. Maan Singh, Advocate, waives service of post admission notice on behalf of respondent. List for hearing in due course. Record, if not received, be called for. (Sandeep Sharma) Judge June, 19,2026 (meera)
