The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No.325 of 2024, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.29 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 22(a), 27(a) of the N.D.P.S. Act and cognizance has been taken under Sections 17(a)/21(a)/27(a) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Seraikella- Kharsawan. It was submitted that 0.49 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of the small quantity. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Seraikella-Kharsawan, in connection with Adityapur P.S.
