JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE ORDER (25.04.2025) The grievance of the petitioner is that despite completing all the formalities along with documents with regard to issuance of passport in his favour, the respondents have not taken a final decision in the matter. Accordingly, a direction has been sought upon respondent No.2 to issue the passport in favour of petitioner. Issue notice to the respondents. Mr. Vishal Sharma, learned DSGI accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Having regard to the nature of controversy projected in the present writ petition, the same can be disposed of at the threshold itself by extending appropriate directions to respondent No. 2. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the application of petitioner for grant of passport bearing file No. JM1069342274824 dated 19.02.2024 most expeditiously within Sr.No. 135 2 a period of four weeks’ from the date a copy of this order is made available to the respondent No. 2.
