Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Higher Education appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioners are seeking a direction for absorbing and regularizing their services against Grant-in-Posts with the 4th respondent college.
3. Learned Government Pleader for Higher Education has submitted the instructions of the 2nd respondent, wherein it is stated that during pendency of

the writ petition, the 4th respondent college has surrendered its aid with effect from 10.08.2021. The said instructions is taken on record.
4. In view of the same, the writ petition cannot be adjudicated on merits on account of subsequent developments in so far as the Aided status of the 4th respondent college is concerned. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
