ANJARIA) What was directed by learned Single Judge in his order dated 07.08.2023 while disposing of Writ Petition No.17111 of 2023 was that the State Government shall take a decision afresh upon remand of the case by the Court after setting aside the endorsement dated 18.03.2019. 2. Learned Additional Government Advocate Smt. Pramodhini Kishan, invited the attention of the Court to the compliance affidavit accompanied by the communication dated 12.09.2024 from the Urban Development Department of the Government to the Commissioner, Mangaluru City Corporation and the consequential endorsement dated 12.09.2024 issued by the Mangaluru City Corporation whereby, the prayer of the complainants for equal pay for equal work is declined. The fresh decision is taken. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:1566-DB CCC No. 835 of 2024 3. The above decision marks compliance of the directions of learned Single Judge. As the decision afresh is taken, the contempt petition does not survive. 4. If the complainants are having any grievance about the decision taken, it will be permissible for them to institute appropriate independent proceedings to challenge the same in accordance with law, in respect of which, however, this Court does not express any opinion. 5.
