JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN and HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIJAYKUMAR A. PATIL ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction, declaring the petitioner to be entitled to claim the Reservation category for the 'Religious Minority/Muslim Minority' and to appear in the Counselling Process of the - UG Medical-2023 conducted by the Respondent No.3 Karnataka Examinations Authority under the 'Religious Minority/Muslim Minority 'category and to select MBBS seats by permitting the petitioner to select the reserved category; in accordance with the inter-se merit; and ii. Issue any other appropriate writ or order or direction as their Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case; in the interest of justice and equity. 2. It is submitted that an order had been issued on 01.09.2023 permitting the petitioner to undergo document verification and to participate in the second round of counselling of UG NEET conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA). It is submitted that pursuant to - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:138-DB WP No. 19219 of 2023 the interim order dated 01.09.2023, the petitioner had participated in the counselling and has been admitted to the UG NEET course. 3. In view of the above submissions and in the light of the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Advocate as well, we find that nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed recording that the petitioner has been granted admission on the basis of the counselling undergone by her on the basis of the interim order granted by this Court.
