This Criminal Revision Case has been filed under Sections 438 and 442 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) seeking to challenge the Judgment, dated 29.05.2025 passed in Crl.A.No.83 of 2022 on the file of XII Additional District Judge (FTC), Vijayawada, confirming the Judgment of conviction of the petitioner by the I-Special Magistrate, Vijayawada in C.C.No.15 of 2019, dated 28.04.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State and learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
3. The petitioner and respondent No.2 are present. They have compromised the matter. They filed a joint memo along with affidavits, which have been countersigned by the learned counsel for both sides.
4. The respondent No.2 is permitted to compromise the matter with the petitioner under Section 320(6) of Criminal Procedure Code (for short ‘the Cr.P.C.’), read with Section 147 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
5. The petitioner is acquitted under Section 320(8) of ‘the Cr.P.C.’. The
Judgment in C.C.No.15 of 2019 dated 28.04.2022 on the file of learned I- Special Magistrate, Vijayawada and in Crl.A.No.83 of 2022, dated 29.05.2025 on the file of XII Additional District Judge (FTC), Vijayawada are set aside.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of in terms of compromise.
