The matrimonial feud between the petitioner No. 1-Mst. Nuzhat Qadir and the respondent No. 2- Khalid Iqbal had led to registration of FIR No. 140/2025 dated 08.09.2025 with the Police Station, Nowgam, Srinagar for alleged commission of offence under Sections 333, 351(3) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. 2. During pendency of the present matter preferred by the petitioner No. 1, joined by two other co-accused persons who came to be booked under final police report No. 101/2025 before the court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (Additional Special Mobile Magistrate), Pantha Chowk, P a g e | 2 CRM(M) No. 821/2025 Srinagar have amicably resolved the matrimonial dispute and marital cohabitation has been restored between the petitioner No. 1 and the respondent No. 2 as a result whereof for the sake of everlasting marital peace in their life, both the petitioner No. 1 as well as the respondent No. 1 are now on the same page in seeking quashment of the criminal case so pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (Additional Special Mobile Magistrate), Pantha Chowk, Srinagar. 3. Taking in view facts and circumstances of the case, the plea of the counsel for the petitioners as well as the counsel for the respondent No. 2 is accepted. 4. FIR No. 140/2025 dated 08.09.2025 read with Final Police Report No. 101/2025 and the criminal case on File No. 260/2025 before the court of court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (Additional Special Mobile Magistrate), Pantha Chowk, Srinagar are hereby quashed. 5.
