1. In this petition filed under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Surksha Sanhita, 2023, the applicants seek a direction for early disposal of Criminal Revision No.31/2021 pending before the Additional Sessions Judge, Gharghoda, District Raigarh Chhattisgarh. It appears from the order dated 24.11.2021 passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Dharamjaigarh that respondent no.1 disturbed the possession of the petitioners, therefore, the petitioners filed application under Sections 145 & 146 of CrPC and in compliance of the order of the Additional Commissioner dated 01.12.2016 in 2nd appeal vide Case No.397/A-6/2014-15 (Mansingh Vs. Ganga Bai), the SDO has passed the impugned order dated 24.11.2021 (Annexure P-3) by holding that respondent no.1 has possessed over the land in question, against which, the petitioners have filed the revision petition before the Additional Sessions Judge, Gharghoda on 04.12.2021, which is pending.

Learned counsel for the applicants refers to the the order sheets of the Revisional Court and submits that the original records have been received by
31.01.2025. The trial court record was awaited for a long time in the revision. Now despite receiving the record, the revision is pending for 4 years. Therefore, he prays for a direction to the Additional Sessions Judge, Gharghoda to decide the revision as early as possible.

Looking to the limited prayer made in this petition, without touching upon merits of the case, it is directed that Additional Sessions Judge, Gharghoda, District Raigarh shall dispose of Criminal Revision No.31/2021 as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this
order.
