The petitioner's candidature for Special B.T.C. Entrance, 2004 was cancelled referring certain 'Direction', however, details of it was not mentioned therein. 3. This writ petition is pending since 2005, i.e., more than two decades, however, till date no counter affidavit has been filed. The petitioner has declared his age to be about 32 years in the year 2005, i.e., presently he must be around 52 years. 4. Mr. Khurshed Alam, learned counsel for petitioner by referring contents of the writ petition submits that no opportunity was granted to petitioner to present his case as well as reason assigned are not specific. 5. Mr. Ashish Kumar Nagvanshi, Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State states that since no counter affidavit is filed, therefore, he is handicapped to assist though he has not denied that reasons are not specific. 6. In the aforesaid circumstances, the Court is of view that there would be no justification to keep this matter pending, therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents will provide detailed specific reasons, why the petitioner's candidature was cancelled, within three weeks and, if necessary, the petitioner may be called to present his case. 7.
